Stone islands in marble, quartz or granite, with waterfall ends, breakfast overhangs and bookmatched tops. The piece everyone gathers around, templated and braced so the overhang is solid.
The stone carried down the sides to the floor, mitred tight with the veining matched around the corner.
Seating overhangs set out and braced properly so the top is rock solid, not bouncing.
Large island tops slab-matched so the pattern reads as one continuous piece.
Undermount sinks, hobs and sockets cut from the template for a clean, planned finish.
Yes, waterfall ends are some of our favourite work. We mitre the corner tight and match the veining so it carries cleanly from the top down the side.
It depends on the stone thickness and the support underneath. For larger overhangs we add bracing or corbels so the top stays solid. We work this out at template stage.
Absolutely. We slab-match where we can so the island and the surrounding run read as one material, or we deliberately contrast it if that is the look you want.
